S.A Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre
The aim of the South African Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is the treatment and temporary care of injured, orphaned and misplaced wildlife with the primary aim being the subsequent return of healthy viable animals and birds to appropriate habitats in the wild.
The placement and preparation for placement of saveable, non-rehabilitative animals and birds in captive and semi-captive breeding programs, educational or community programs; preparation and training for release of captive-bred animals and birds for reintroduction into the wild; and the humane euthanasia of non-rehabilitative or severely disabled birds and animals.
