The SFBJ (Johannesburg French Benevolent Association) is a not for profit association, created over 120 years ago in Johannesburg. Its role and mission are to assist French people in difficulty in Gauteng and surrounding provinces. Whether they are resident having made their home here or only passing through, we are here to assist in times of need.

Our operations rely entirely on mutual aid and solidarity within and from the French community. We are a small team of volunteers, with dedicated members from the French community, whose donations and involvement are truly appreciated.

We aim to bridge the gap between generations and our communities, whilst at the same time being fully integrated in South Africa.
